Not sure what to say?

Marilyn and Family,

Mike Tyo sent me this link and I am so grateful. I had no idea. My heart grieves with you your temporary loss of such an incredible man. I have so many memories--fun, blessed, tender--of you all and Evans. Evans was a Sunday School teacher I will always remember. Dad had so much confidence in Evans, and Charlie looked up to him as well. It gives me great joy to think of Evans sharing sweet reunion with Dad and Mom, Jeannie, and Charlie and so many wonderful...

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear of your husband's death. My most sincere condolence.

My condolences to the Armstead family. Mr. Armstead was my 7th grade science teacher at Hopewell School. He was a well respected teacher, firm yet delivered it with a good sense of humor as well.

With Sympathy,
Sarah (McClellan) Stanchin

Had MR. Armstead as a teacher, in 7th grade at Hopewell school. He was a great teacher and person. He really cared about his students. He will be greatly missed. Our hearts, prayers, and sympathies, go out to his family! He is walking hand in hand with the LORD now!! GOD bless you MR. Armstead!!

Mr Armstead was my 7th grade science teacher. Loved his approach to teaching and remember him to this day. Also remember him playing music at the end of class. My favorite Leaving On A Jet Plane. May he Rest In Peace knowing his students loved him.

Dear Jennifer, David, & Marilyn, Im so sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with your family during this terrible time.

He was my teacher at Hopewell , school year 1967- 1968 , when his son David was born I never ran into him after that which is a shame I liked him as a teacher and he was only 12 years older than me Prayers for his entire family

Mr. Armstead was my 7th grade home room and science teacher. He was always someone I looked up to, and I fondly remember him and his smile.
He would have times when we'd listen to records if we got our work done, or had time at the end of the school day. I was a tomboy and rode dirt bikes, and he played Motorcycle Mama by Sailcat for me. Since then whenever I've heard, or thought of, this song, I smile remembering him.
Mr. Armstead, you were a good teacher and a kind man. May you...
