Not sure what to say?

Dear John and family,
I have been thinking of you all during this very difficult time and remembering Evelyn. She was such a woman of quiet strength and grace and a wonderful loving person. I enjoyed working for her at the Tot Drop and learned so much from her that I will carry with me forever. I was honored that she wanted me to babysit for "Baby Beth" when she did shows and I admired her ability to pull everything together when things seemed so hectic. Her incredible love...

Dearest John:

It was fate that Judy and I returned home briefly (on the day we left for three weeks in Canada)to receive your call about dear Evelyn's passing. True fate, because we had unplugged the answering machine, and you would not have been able to leave the message. I am so glad that Judy picked up the phone!

Evelyn certainly completed you. It was an honor to be your Best Man and I'll always cherish visiting you guys on Bemis Road and in England.

Dear John and Family,

I just learned today of Evelyn's passing. Please know how saddened I am by this news and know that I am thinking of you all.

John - I know that this past year has been a difficult one. I want you to know how proud I am of you for caring this huge load with such strength and grace. Your children must be very proud of you, I know that I am.

All the kids - During this hard time, know that there are so many people that are thinking of...

Owen we're praying for you and your family. We love you and grieve with you.

I remember as a child visiting my Uncle Austin, Aunt Eleanor and my cousins when they lived in Joplin. Marilyn, Donna, Carol, Evelyn, Elaine, Mac, Gail and David were always fun to be around and always great to me. These are still fond memories and I now look back and know there was always a lot of love in their house. Please accept my condolences.

I would like to pass along our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Please know that our thoughts are with you.

Dear John,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. God Bless.

Dear John,
If anyone has an inkling of what you have gone through and are still going through I do. If there's anything I can do to help please know that I am ready and willing. My love to you and your whole family.

I met Evelyn 15 years ago when I took our youngest child to Joyful Noise, she and her staff always made everyone feel welcomed and in a 'joyful' environment. It is sad to see this item. She was a very warm and inviting person.
