Not sure what to say?

Irish was such a special presence in my life. I met her as a nurse when Harry was ill. They both brought a special meaning to what caring, love and family meant. Wish I could have given her that hug. Thinking of all of you though time has passed.

Have you ever heard of "Love" at first sight? We became lasting friends in an instant at Franciscan Villa. I tried to show you my world...each time you came to Denver. You "enlarged" mine. Miss you? No....you are now one of my guardian angels...and, I profoundly thank you for that. Please be there to meet me when my time comes, my friend. I love you.

Irish was a bright light in our lives. She was spunky and fun and cared deeply for those around her. Her life is an example of what we all should strive for.

My deepest sympathies go out to Rhoda & Kent, Tyler & Susan and all the extended family. I truly enjoyed every minute I spent with Irish! She was truly loved by all and will be missed by many.

My loving condolences go out to the entire family. May Jesus wrap his arms around you all and comfort you. May he welcome Irish with open arms and invite her home. Love you, Uncle Tyler, Aunt Sue, Dan, and Angela, et al xxoo

Thanks to everyone who has shared their condolences and memories with our family through the web, by phone, with a visit to the house, in cards, with memorial donations, and in attendance at the visitation and/or mom's funeral on Saturday. Her funeral at the South Milwaukee United Methodist Church was a lovely and heartfelt tribute to Mom/Irish and included her favorite hymns, musical solos, readings, and tributes by loved ones and concluded with a piano rendition of "I Could Have...

Dear Rhoda, your mom will be truly missed! We lived two doors down from your family home in So. Milwaukee in 1971 to 1975. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us and our children Joey and Christopher. We were excited to meet her once again at Franciscan Villa where our mom spent her last 11+ years. She was such a happy person spreading joy to everyone she met. Her smile will live on in our memory.
Love from the Charliers, Camille, Jan, Joe, Chris and Danielle.

From North Central to Continental airlines, the Milwaukee Clipper to the Lakes Express. From the back of a Harley, and a party meal from a hay wagon, then dancing till dawn. How Irish LIVED! Her love of family in times of so many personal trials only added to her strength and faith in God. Well done good and faithful servant! Well done. We love you and will truly miss you. On my ordination day, you were there to remind me what unconditional love actually looked like. Your journey has...

Thank you for being my friend. I was truly blessed to have you and your family in my life.
