I can only say that you were the best uncle to have in my life. please tell grandma and grandpa i miss them and thank you guys for the memories.

Aunt June , Shelly , Laurie and Dale plus families, Im so sorry for your loss... I thank God that I was able to be blessed to have the time I had with Uncle Lonnie and of course have yall as part of my family , what a treasure ..sending love an prayers , Laney

I miss my brother-in-law every day. I took comfort with the thought of him back there in Alabama, the "kingpin" of the southern family. He was gentle, soft spoken, a true Southern Gentleman.

But I've had to find a new comfort zone. It's this: Lonnie is whole now. And he's healthy, "bass fishing with Jesus" as he told his grandson he would do. Moreover, he's happy to be reunited with his heavenly family. He is visiting with Bill his brother-in-law and others. ...

My prayers are on the way to June and her family for their loss. May your beautiful memories help you through this time.

RIP Lonnie, you will truly be missed. I can still remember the times as a child visiting your family's home..it was always so much fun and much to do. As adults, I will miss seeing you at the family reunions and hearing that wonderful guitar picking. June my heart is with you, may God reach down to you and fill your heart with peace. May he keep you and the children close always in the remembance of a loving husband and father..Blessings to you all..So long cousin, until we meet again!
