Kel and Mike, I am so very sorry for your loss as we all are here in RI. I have very fond memories of my Uncle Mike and of my Aunt Fran as well. Uncle Mike will be sadly missed. He was a wonderful man. He always made everyone laugh. The cottage he built is a monument to him and just one of the great things he accomplished in his life. He was a loving father and husband. love you.

My memories of Mr. & Mrs. Murphy were of happy, fun times at the camp growing up. Mr. Murphy was always doing something, picking up a branch, to moving stones. He was a funny, sweet man. They had their relationship their way and it worked. More people should look at their stamina for life and love of life. Boy Kel !! The times we had at the camp growing up with your parents. They have always been, even after Linda & Michael split, and will always be part of our family....can't imagine not having either one of you in our family. Love from all in the, Urquhart, Morin, Gravel, Thibault, Poulin families.

Kelly, Mike & family,
I'll always cherish the wonderful memories of the Briana-Murphy years at Thompson Lake...swimming, boat rides, fishing from the rocks, cookouts on the beach, playing in the old chicken coop, watching the Red Sox at your camp because we didn't have cable...so many laughs and such great times. The Beechwoods just won't be the same without "Mr. Murph." I imagine your Dad and Mom are gazing down from heaven taking in those breathtaking sunsets. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Mike will always be in our hearts. He was the first to welcome us to Beechwoods and tell us all the gossip. He spent time and his truck helping us clean up our yard. He was generous and funny and fun to be with.

I know how much your Dad meant to you; and my heart goes out to you and your family. Comfort yourself with the great memories: the bean suppers, the great St. Patrick's day hat, the great times at camp, and crashing all those weddings, and many many more wonderful times with "that funny little man."

To Kel, Michael and Family,
I like to start by saying it was a treasure to have gotten to know your dad. He was truly a sweetheart.
There were plenty of times I had to remind your dad I was already in a relationship but, God love him he never stopped trying.
He had a caring heart and a good sense of humour. Mike would often state how fortunate he was to have me come in and help him at home, though I was also fortunate and looked forward to being of help. I'll cherish our memories and will alway have a special place in my heart for him.
I'm going to miss you Mike and I'll be looking out for that humming bird. *)
Love ya, Nora

My dad was a superhero, he was able to waterski underwater and come up with the ski's attached and jump a fence in a single bound, of course while being chased by a bull. When I was very young he took care of me while mom worked and would take me to the most wonderful places for lunch, the women were dressed like princesses and the men were prince's it wasn't until later I realized we were wedding crashers. Nevertheless he was my hero. After mom passed I was able to spend alot of time with him and got to know so much more about the man I called dad. He wasn't much of a talker but man take that man to a cemetary and he would just start telling sories about his family and it's history. We were able to do the bean supper circut we went to every bean supper in the twin cities and beyond some were good and some not so good. Dad and I would rate the quality everytime dad would say that was the best one so far. Dad never got tired of beans me on the other hand. well beans were an aquired taste. We always knew it was time to go dad would just get up and head for the door. I would think to myself what a funny lil man. To you he was brother uncle friend to me he is My Dad My hero. Love always Kell
