Fannie Ann Scott, age 74, of Glenwood, died Sunday, June 13, 2004.

She was born on May 8, 1930, at Sims, the daughter of Samuel Orlo Plyler and Lee Etta Elder Plyler. On August 5, 1947, she was married to Norvil Scott. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cleo Townsend.

She attended the Glenwood Free Will Baptist Church. She was a resident of the San Diego area for over fifty-nine years before moving to Glenwood in 2001.

She is survived by her husband, Norvil Scott of Glenwood; two sons, John Scott of Redlands, California and Don Scott of Birmingham, Alabama; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Darrell "Doc" Plyler of Glenwood; one sister, Lillie Summitt of Sims; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 17, 2004, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willis Summitt officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Rocky Cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
