Not sure what to say?

We think about Doug often. He was the best drummer ever! His quiet demeanor and generous heart made him a special guy. We loved him. He was like family to us. His memory will live on forever. Don Johnson & Karen Critchfield

Doug is still missed very much. Often his name comes up in conversations with other musicians. Doug was the absolute BEST drummer! He will never be forgotten. Leroy Flowers joined him in Heaven a few years back. We know they are making some great music together. We miss them both. Karen and Don

Doug was a great player. I was honored to play with him in the 80's on the Tillman band.

We your family from Wilkes-Barre will miss you. We are happy to know that you are at peace.

To the Hoyle family. I am so sorry and sad to hear of Doug's passing. Got to know and play with Doug in the City Groove Band. And even tho Doug was an awesome drummer, he was a super nice guy and a great friend. May God Bless. RIP Doug...

Doug was a good friend. He was a part of our band, the Don Johnson Project, for 10 years. He was the heartbeat of the band. We loved him. He will be missed by many people. RIP Doug. We will never forget you!
Karen and Don Johnson, Leroy Flowers, Dominic Iacavone, and Curtis Andrews

I bought many cars from Doug over the years. He was one of the best sales persons and human beings I had ever bought a car from. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I went to school with Doug, always a very kind and gentle young man.
