FLORENCE A. SHULTZ* age 75 of White Pigeon, Michigan passed away Saturday morning November 3, 2007 at the Sturgis Hospital.

She was born November 5, 1931 in White Pigeon, Michigan a daughter to the late George & Eunice (Strong) Jackson.

Florence had resided in the White Pigeon area her whole life.

On November 6, 1949 she married John Shultz in La Porte, Indiana. He died February 16, 1986.

Her last employment was with Artesian Interiors in Middlebury, Indiana. She had also worked at the 3-D Department Store in Sturgis and she was a homemaker.

Florence enjoyed crafts, bowling, playing softball with her family, crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by 3 Daughters; Sandra (Douglas) Steiner of Three Rivers, Georgia (LaVern) Anderson of White Pigeon and Elizabeth (John Knox) Stuart of White Pigeon, 2 Sons; Michael (Irene) Shultz of Zephyrhills, Florida and Timothy (Cherrie) Shultz of Sturgis, 3 Sisters; Lucille Linn of LaGrange, Indiana, Zelma (Ernie) Merritt of Constantine and Nathalie (Jim) Gangwer of Topeka, Indiana, 4 Brothers; George (Faye) Jackson of Mongo, Indiana, Franklin Jackson of Lynn, Massachusetts, John (Linda) Jackson of Sturgis and Glen (Caroline) Jackson of Ontario, Indiana, 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, 3 sisters; May Miller, Marry Smith and Alice Miller, 1 brother, Jessie Jackson, granddaughter; Nicole Elizabeth and great granddaughter; baby Yates preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends today, Monday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the *HACKMAN-Foglesong Funeral Home* of Sturgis. Funeral services celebrating the life of Florence A. Shultz will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Barry Edds of the White Pigeon Church of Christ will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at the Shore Cemetery in Shipshewana, Indiana.

The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mrs. Shultz’s memory consider the Commission on Aging. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
