I'll always remember how kind Florence was to my mother Ellen, who would have been 94 today. I think mom's brother Russell may have once dated her. The enclosed picture is one of twelve photos I have of lovely Florence. In my family (as in the photo), she was known as "Toni".

My Grandmother lived next door to Florence and after my grandmother passed away, my fiancee and I stayed a few times at Florence's when visiting Boston. She was an incredibly warm and kind person. She will be greatly missed.

I grew up next door to Florence in Boston. She was always kindly and generous to me as a little girl when she used to buy my girl scout cookies through to my adulthood where I would stay in her house when visiting from London. She was kind to my mother and would always leave her opera programmes for her. She is part of my history and she will be missed.

I first met Florence in June 1963 when I came to Boston as a young emigrant. Florence opened her home and her heart to me. We had a loving friendship which spanned fifty five years.
Where ever my husband and I were in the World we kept in touch with Florence and, when we visited Boston with our children Florence would go out of her way to tour the city with us, it was always a special time together.
