Dearest Flossie, When I think of you Flossie, I think of LOVE. How Lovingly you invited me into your life. When I think you you Flossie, I think of MODESTY. How you lived your life, never boasting of personal accomplishments. Choosing to give all your thanks to the Lord. When I think you you, Flossie, I think of STRENGTH. How strong and mighty you are in such a delicate frame of body. When I think of you, Flossie, I think of HARD TIMES, growing up during the Great Depression. You...

Mike and Bobbie....I am sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I was out of the country and did not hear about it until yesterday afternoon so my apologies for not being at the services. Your Mom was always very nice to me. I hope you are both doing OK.

My dear Aunt Flossie: You will be incredibly missed. But, you are now in the splendor of the Lord. and with your dear mother, husband, and family.
When visiting or calling her, Flossie would warm our hearts in a way I can't describe. She would reminisce to my husband and I about her family as she loved them all. But her words of affection for her mom, Bobbie, were awesome! "Oh, Earlene, Tom, she would say, mother would make the whole house smell wonderful, with freshly baked bread!, Oh, my...

My name is Kathy Clifton, Flossie was my Great Aunt. Over the years, I saw my Aunt Flossie at numerous family reunions, but really connected with her about 4 years ago, when my youngest daughter was entering college at UC Davis. I knew that her son, Mike had gone to school there and decided one night to call her. I was talking to my Aunt about how hard it was going to be for my daughter to live away from home, more that two hours away from us, how much I would miss her and how nervous I...

I am a volunteer at Methodist Hospital, I have the privilege of working a shift on the Information desk just before Flossie's shift on Wednesday. It was always a pleasure to chat with her and enjoy the beautiful flowers she would bring to share with all of us. She would also share her home grown vegetables with us. What a wonderful woman and what a long and useful life she had. My deapest sympathy for her familly, God bless. Sincerely, Joyce Topping
