Remembering Floyd's great stories and zest for life. He was such a kind person & always willing to lend a hand when needed. Together we enjoyed our walks around the community. I was fortunate to move next door to Floyd several years ago and he was my most wonderful and dear neighbor! From our first meeting, I felt I had known him all my life and was hooked by his warm smile and deeply knowing eyes. Here was a gentleman of the "greatest generation" who had experienced life to the fullest, but still lived so firmly in the present. He would share his latest adventures with me and proved without a doubt that life is worth living. Like myself, he loved his computers...

I got to know Floyd from coming into the Westminster Costco. And my husband Larry and I had the pleasure of visiting Floyd in his home. He told wonderful stories about all kinds of different things, from Tesla to music. Even had the opportunity to read his book. Floyd will be missed and we are sorry to hear of his passing.

;-( Floyd will truly be missed...I worked along side Floyd @the Denver VAMC for a few years and it was never a dull moment...It was amazing to see that he was so active and involved in so many different things in his late 70's :) he is truly an inspiration to me and I will never ever forget his sense of humor...I am soo happy that I was able to see him at the DVAMC about two months ago and finally was able to meet his son that he always spoke about, I also spoke with Ms. Laura on the phone...
