On Thursday, April 8th 2021, Frances Elaine Blankenship, loving mother of six, went to be with her Lord while at home surrounded by loved ones.

Gram has always been a fighter. After battling and beating breast cancer, she began a new fight against bone and liver cancer. She was never weak in spirit and her faith never wavered. She battled to fight for time with her family. Long after the doctors stopped treating her, after the medicine could no longer work... She fought. She lived. Gram gathered her family around her to make them laugh, to show them love, to give them all the memories she could. Her battle is now over, she finally won and beat cancer by leaving this world on her own terms and in her spunky and unique fashion.

A Memorial Service will be held in Elaine’s honor on Monday April 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church 5325 Hwy 81 South Covington GA 30016. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to American Cancer Society in remembrance of our Gram:
