Well, I sure am sad to hear of her passing. One of my favorite, and somewhat sepia-toned, memories of her was when I was at the house one late afternoon and a grand-daughter, I believe, asked her what she was drinking. She said it was a "high-ball." When the young girl asked her for a taste she lovingly said, "Oh, you won't like it." To this day I often tell anyone asking what I am drinking that, "It's a high-ball," and it usually gets the same sort of smile...

Frances Brissman seems to have had such grace and energy. Joan, I can see that she gave those qualities to live on within you, your children and grandchildren. My thoughts are with you, Love Sue

What a full and wonderful life she and Bud had! I'm thinking and praying for all of you. Love Barbara Brissman Sharp

I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She seemed to have lived a very full and inspirational life.
