Her middle name? Joy! I cannot of anything more appropriate. I miss my dear friend, although I can still hear her laughter and the sound of her voice whenever I think of her (which is often). I say "Good night" to her every time it is lights out.

Dear Fran, I can hardly believe that you have been gone for a year already! An entire year and a few days without you in my life; however my dear friend, I can still hear your voice and see that great smile and those sparkling eyes. Oh, how I wish I could find the right words to tell you how very sorry I was to hear the news of Fran's passing. I have been struggling for days searching for just the right nouns and adjectives to describe those feelings, but nothing seems to express the loss I am sure we are all experiencing.

Fran was such a delightful and gifted person! I did not see her as often as I would have liked, but each time I did, I always felt as if she was a best friend.
