Not sure what to say?

I still miss Sister Leo Marie! Her energy, bright spirit and sharp intellect were a constant inspiration to me at Pope Pius HS. I remember her fondly. Ellen Van Pelt Phoenix, AZ

Nameplate and Letter

I'm not sure how I came to have this nameplate from her desk at Pope Pius, but I've kept it all these many years. A vase on her desk was broken by careless students fooling around. We bought her a new one! She was my favorite teacher and an inspirational person.

Sister Leo Marie was a wonderful inspiration to me at Pope Pius XII High School. I remember her warmth, wit and composure which helped us through our teen-age years. She was a wonderful teacher and mentor....I will never forget her. My sincere synpathy to all her loved ones and family.

Sister Leo Marie, of Pope Pius XII, made a profound impression on me. I am not sure how she did it, but she made me a more serious, thoughtful human 16-yr old. We all now know what a stretch that was! Not critical or judgmental, she encouraged intelligent curiosity and critical thinking. And she was so charming and smart and funny. I will never forget her big, blue eyes and warm smile. What a great person. RIP Sister Leo Marie. You sure did good work!

Everlasting memories of Sister Fran's positive attitude on everything and her beautiful smile. May she rest in peace.
