Not sure what to say?

To the Abbot Family,I met "Bear" through the Union at Exxon.I only knew him as a caring person who saw to everybody having a good time on our trips. My Dad called him the president of Exxon.
My prayers are with you.

It is with great sadness that I sign this book. My heart goes out to the entire family. Peanut was beloved by so many and a truly good person. May Time & Faith grant you comfort to face this tragic loss. With Loving Thoughts,

Francis,
I went to school with you and I saw that your father had passed and I want to tell you how much I feel your pain. My mother died the day after your father and they were the same age. I don't know how old your daughter is but my three children have been the only light in my life because I can see my mother in them. I only pray you can do the same.

Ms. Julie,

So sorry for your loss. Was out of town for the weekend and just found out. Even though I never met him, I know he was special from everything you said about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr. Francis.

Janet,
So sorry to hear of your sudden loss. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. Take comfort in the love of your family and friends.God bless you.

janet,

so sorry to hear of your loss. it's been a long time since we've been in contact; can you believe the writers' group is in its fifteenth year? i read the newspaper for my library job, but hadn't gotten to this week's. cheryl wolverton emailed me about bear's death. What a shock; he was so young. my thoughts will be with you and your family in this difficult time.

Jan, I want you to know that you and Uncle are my sister and brother. Uncle is my BIG brother more than my own brother. I know that he loves me, Doug, and my girls as if they were his own. I know that I have to be strong for Mama and Paw. God needed another great angel to help him watch over all of us, and who better than Uncle for the job. I know that he is in the loving arms of Jesus, smiling down on us. I love you dearly and we are always here for you. We will miss him greatly. ...

To an honest man who fought for his beliefs and stood by his friends and co-workers. Memory eternal.

"Bear" was a tremendous personality. I can't imagine anyone not liking him. The friednship I held with he and his wife, Janet, was a dear one. I will miss seeing his brilliant smile and hearing about his adventures searching for beads for his wife to use in her beautiful jewelry. He was not the type of man you find often, handsome, clever, humorous, and fun. I used to wonder if it were possible to clone a human being, what a wonderful gift he would be to all my single friends...
