Missing my friend, Frank. He was a great businessman, dad, husband, and friend. Well respected and appreciated by all who knew him. I ride a bicycle event every year to defeat cancer, Frank's spirit is always with me!

I was fortunate enough to work with Frank and Triangle RAC ( a company he built from scratch) for many years. He was always gracious, accommodating, and straightforward. The best part was his friendship beyond the business relationship. I think of him often and work toward defeating cancer for everyone impacted. RIP Frank, and Love & Prayers to his family! mj/Toyota

Dear Colonna Family, I am so distraught to hear of the passing of Frank. I had the pleasure of knowing Frank over the last 12 years and helped him with his site selection in the Atlanta area. My life has truly been blessed to be able to work with such a passionate, caring, dedicated father and Husband. He and I were always sharing stories of our families and I can say that because of this I felt like I knew you well. It was a true pleasure to have called him a friend. My life is better having known him. My family is praying for your family during this difficult time. Kevin Creel, Cresa Atlanta

To the Colonna Family,
I met Frank when I transferred in to Raleigh 18 years ago. I represented Ford Motor Company Fleet operations and worked with Frank to support his rental fleet. Frank felt like a family member to me and the news of his passing saddens me so much.
I know and appreciated your feeling of loss . The good memories and Frank's great outlook on life gives all of us inspiration for the future. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Sincerely,
Tom Herndon

Rebecca, we never met but Frank spoke of you and the children often. I owned rental companies in Atlanta and we started in the business at virtually the same time. I would call Frank whenever I had a difficult hurdle, and he would always share his experience. Please know that he had my upmost respect! You and the kids are in my prayers!

Dear Catherine and Matthew,
I am saddened to know that your dad passed away this week. I enjoyed talking to him as he watched you run, Catherine! He was definitely proud of you two kids. I cannot imagine the void you will feel, but I do hope your memories will ease your pain. Catherine, I remember our conversation in December and really treasured that. All my best to you and your family!

Frank was a super nice guy. Always enjoyed talking about fishing with him. He came to our restaraunt quite a bit. He was one of the regulars. Going to miss our chats. Condolences to friends and family from the crew at P.T.'s Grille

I was very sorry to learn that Frank had lost his long battle with melanoma. I know it has been a long journey for all of you. I can't imagine how difficult it will be for all of you in the family to say goodbye.
I want you to know that I too share your loss. I met Frank through CCA NC but enjoyed his company, his intelligence, his commitment to conservation and his sharp wit. Mostly though I enjoyed his friendship and generosity to me, my family and friends. He always reminded me of a line in a Jerry Jeff Walker song that described his friend as, "... he was the kind who let find out all that he knew." I say this in the very best way that he shared with me. He was indeed a truly good man. There aren't many we can say that about.
Sincerely,
Bill Mandulak

To Catherine and Matthew, your father was my client, my mentor, and most of all my friend. We talked often about fatherhood. We talked about the challenges and the overwhelming joy it brings. He deeply loved you both and was very, very proud of you. Your dad taught me a great deal and I will miss him immensely. He was the man I am trying to become.

I was sorry to hear about Frank. Even though it has been almost 17 years since I worked at the Spring Forest, I have great memories of the 3 1/2 years I worked with Frank and my other coworkers! My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rebecca, Catherine and Matthew. You have an angel watching over you now.

I hope you are truly at peace now, Frank. It was an honor to be a part of your company for 16 years. You were a great, strong, fair man. I am very sad that you left us so soon, and I pray for Rebecca, Catherine, and Mathew, as they continue on without you. May the Lord bless them with the strength and love they will need in the days and years to come.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Frank. He was an absolutely wonderful man. I know he is now singing with the angels. But he has left this earth far too soon. However he left his mark upon all that he met. I offer my most sincere condolences to his family.

To the Colonna family,

Frank has been a friend of many here at Enterprise Holdings, Inc. for many years. Our senior leaders and me have always held Frank in the highest regard. I personally met Frank only recently when we started discussions about the transition of Triangle Rent-A-Car. My short interaction with him proved that he was an honorable businessman and family man.

Regrettably, I am not able to attend the visitation Friday evening. Your family is and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kind regards,
Brice Adamson

Frank, as I knew him was a family man, a caring man, an honest man, and a real friend. He was a gentleman who always shared his concerns over your well being and happiness. While we spoke of cars and the rental business, it was fishing (with Matthew), school (Catherine at Illinois Benedectine) and his home with Rebecca that were most important. Go Bless you Frank. For all you meant to everyone you touched.
