Not sure what to say?

I was a very young student at SMI, Amsterdam, NY. When Father Gilchrist was attached there. I remember when he enlisted in the Air Force. He came to our classroom in full uniform to say good bye. Handsome man in his uniform. I still remember. He was loved by all the children.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Fr. Frank. He was a dear life-long friend of my parents Mary Lawlor and Bill Beidl. He married them and also presided over their funerals in 1994 and 2004 respectively.
Although I saw him seldom, he was such a warm man that I always felt I knew him bettter than I really did.
He was a great comfort to me and my brothers Bill and Peter.

Thank you for touching our lives and for your quiet influence. We'll be leaving an extra chair at the dinner table whenever chicken marsala is on the menu!

I picture you sitting at a simple table quietly enjoying a bowl of soup. Probably soup Mary Rose made for you and the other Fr. Frank you were living with in Albany. You always made time to meet and talk with me. My favorite was meeting you in Washington Park to go for a grand power walk. Thank you for your tender fatherly care, your sound advice, and text book money for college. hey pop, i really miss you. i know you're praying for me. you probably don't need mine so give 'em to...
