Not sure what to say?

KNEW OF HIM ALONG TIME AGO AFTER HE PASSED ON THE FLOWER SHOP CLOSED UP

He was a nice person, one of the nicest around. When I was little, I once asked for a blue carnation, and he gave me a white carnation spray-painted blue. When my mother was little, Mr Kalo would put flowers in her hair. I don't understand this: why do the good ones have to die?

Mr. Kalo provided my mom, Eve Fox and her sister, Goldie Mahilo, with palm leaves for the hundreds of palm crosses they made for area churches at Easter. After each of them died, I stopped by to tell Frank and was touched by what a deep feeling gentle man he was. It's no wonder he had so many life long friends.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

I just heard of Frank's passing a few minutes ago. I am truly sorry I was not able to be there for his funeral. In spite of not being related, Frank was still like family to me. He is one of the greatest people I have ever known and will miss him dearly. God bless you Frank. I am very blessed to have known you.

My mother, Julia Farkas Kostyn, heard of Frank's passing and asked that I send her (and our) condolences to the Kalo Family. She has many fond memories and whenever we were in town we stopped to purchase flowers for my father's grave (Gilbert Kostyn).
God Bless and prayers, Julia Kostyn,
(Karen Hunter, daughter)

Frank Kalo was one of the kindest people we met. Always generous and eager to help his customers adn a friend to all who entered his shop. He will be greatly missed. Arlene & Todd Ruth

My condolences to the Kalo family. Mr. Kalo was a most generous and kind man.

I will miss Frank. He is with the Angels now. For all you did for me and my family, thank you dear friend.
