Not sure what to say?

Mr Mitchell was a memorable figure from my time at Lancaster Memorial School in the 70's. I had the good luck to run into him often at the post office in the early 2000's, he was always friendly & a pleasure to chat with.

I work for Spadafore Oil and I must say that Frank was by far my favorite customer. From the moment he told me what hours he would not be available because he took his sweetheart Joanie to MacDonalds every morning for coffee he had me hook, line & sinker. The world has lost one of the "good guys". RIP Frank.

Frank hired me to teach fourth grade with Tom Moore and Herbert Hosmer in 1975. It was the most incredible job, with ideal team mates. Frank and I occasionally "butted heads", but always remained supportive and respectful of each other. He was a wonderful school leader, friend, community member and man. I am so sorry for his loss. It was my good fortune to know him and be guided by him

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Frank! He was such an honorable man he went above and beyond for everyone. He always had something nice to say and was always very encouraging. I often think of Frank and my father-in-law Jim Cardillo , two peas in a pod ,sitting in McDonald's solving the world's problems as they used to say. You could walk in there any day of the week at 9:00 a.m. and they would be there deep in conversation. It was always such a pleasure to stop and chat with them....

Kenny and family, very sorry for your loss, time will heal the sadness, your dad will always be with you.

Dear Mrs. Mitchell and Family,
Mr. Mitchell led an exemplary life. He was not only a good and kind man, but a wonderful steward of education, church and community. With deepest sympathy for your loss. The Easley Family

A big man with a big heart and a lot of energy in a small suit!! Taught "showed" me not to underestimate the "competition" based on size. Learned a lot watching him and through lively talks. Frank will be missed by many and for many reasons!!!

Dear Mrs. Mitchell, Mark, Ken and Dan,

I am so sorry to learn of your husband/fathers passing. Thank you for allowing me to visit with him while he was in UMass. We had an nice visit and lots to talk about each time.

I remember when he took over as Superintendent in Lancaster, seems like yesterday and look where the school has gone. He took me to meet a friend of his in the publishing business to help me with my journalism career and learned many good points of...

Was thinking of joan and you the other day. I waitress at sandees and always love to see them come in. I had met Frank at my last job at McDonald's though and was so happy he recognized me from there. He had such a big heart. Would always ask me how I was doing and what was new. Thank you for always being so kind. You will be missed by many and my thoughts are with you and your loved ones. ❤
