Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to you on the loss of this dear man. What a wonderful and well-written obituary.
Grace and peace to you all as you grieve.

Much love,
Mary

Dear Mary and Frank,

My sympathy to you and your family in the loss of Mary's Dad. I mentioned to Frank that he was my advisor when I first started Calvin many years ago.

May God comfort you and may you rejoice in your Dad's contribution to the furtherance of the kingdom of God.

Larry

We remember our dear brother and seminary professor, and pray the Lord fill the empty place in the family with His ongoing presence and strength. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15.

Dr. Klooster was a very good professor. He has made a good contribution to the Christian Reformed Church. Our prayers go with the family as they mourn this loss.

Dr. Klooster was able to instill in me as a seminary student, a love for the Lord, and a passion for Reformed Theology as reflected particularly in the Heidelberg Catechism. May the Lord bless you and your family as you grieve his loss, and yet take comfort in the words of Lord's Day 1 of the Heidelberg Catechism.

I was saddened to hear the news, but I haven't kept up with Fred for many years. I remember him as one of my valuable teachers who aimed me at the Scripture, a cherished encourager, and a wonderful man of God. May you be truly comforted in our Lord!
