We are so sorry to receive the sad news of Fred's passing. We truly have lost a good and unique friend. We always looked foreward to driving him to Hill School functions because of the entertaining and humorus stories he lavished on us during the drives. He was an exceptional mathematics teacher and I was proud to be a colleague of his in that department. He was a master at humorous ribbing. we will really miss him.

Oh my goodness - I had lost track of Fred after he left Bradford Pa - what an amazing life he led. He was a very good teacher and principal while in Bradford - truly he has left his light among many.

Dynamic Fred was probably planning another trip to Alaska when sadly his itinerary was changed… We admired and loved Fred, a kind, warm friend and colleague. Our hearts join Fred's relatives and the Hill School family in celebrating his amazing life.

To Sally and family: I was saddened to learn of your father's passing. I remember his sense of humor. Peace and blessings to all.

My condolences to the entire Marshall family. I remember Fred mostly as a kind neighbor and my principal in high school. Rest in Peace Fred.

Fred was eternally young. I always enjoyed hearing about his Alaskan adventures. He always had a kind word and a minute to share. My sympathies to the Marshall family.

What wonderful memories come back as our thoughts turn to Fred and our friendship with him while we were at the Hill School. He was always a light and example to us. We mourn with the family and send our condolences. May God bless you at this difficult time.

Dick and I always admired Fred and his love of life. He just kept challenging the boundaries of age. God be with him.
