My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Watkins Family at this difficult time!

This is a letter to my dad. He has always been the "rock" for mom and I. He has taught me so much, to ride a bike, shimmy up a tree and how to do fractions! He loved to call momma and I his girls. He was always teasing and joking with me but also made sure I knew how much he loved me. Dad you have inspired me for as long as I can remember and was someone that our family has always been able to look up to. I love you and will miss you every day.

I don't even know what to say. Since the day I met this man along with Yvonne and Cheryl (later, Brenda, David and Dwayne), I knew they were special. Fred has an amazing way of being honest and genuine that can't be properly described. Quick to listen and slow to speak (at church anyway), not outspoken about his own talents, which were obviously many, and yet always ready with a compliment of others.
