JONES, Freddie M., 67, of Charles City, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois L. Jones; two sons, Donnie Jones (Kim), Lance Jones (Christy); his mother, Maggie L. Jones; one brother, Norman Jones (Margaret); two sisters, Delores Adkins, Pam Clarke; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was a great husband and dad. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Samaria Baptist Church, Providence Forge. Interment will follow in Glendale Community Bible Church Cemetery, 8151 Warriner Road.

I GUESS HE IS TELLING THEM TO ALL THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, REMEMBER HE IS IN NO PAIN AT ALL ,LETS BE GRATEFUL. I HOPE AND PRAY HE IS TELLING JOKES TO MY MOM FLOSSIE. IF ANY OF YOU NEED ANYTHING AT ALL PLEASE LET US KNOW. WE LOVE ALL OF YOU .

To Lois and Family ,
You have my deepest sympathy,Freddie is having a good time with all of the tiny little angels in heaven.Reading and telling so many good stories.I pray that God gives you the strength to make it and please take one day at a time.Such a grat man he was.

Freddie was a great man. I wont forget the stories, songs, and laughter he shared with me. I will remember him fondly and hope the family rememeber that his memory lives on in those that loved him.

At this time of great sorrow, may you feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
