The last email I had from Skip was on February 21st. Over the years we had kept up email correspondence and a once in a while Skype chat. We shared similar perspectives as well as the occasional ribald joke. I shall miss his comments.

Carolyn and Family, We were saddened to hear of the passing of your father. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this time.

Our hearts go out to you all in this time of sorrow. I have so many fond memories of Skip - playing hearts and whist for hours when we were all much younger and could last into the wee hours of the morning, exchanging books since we liked many of the same authors, and, of course, sharing many meals with family at the lakes.
