Sincere regrets
LCOL George Frid - CO 1966-69

My sincerest condolences. I remember LtCol Brown as a kid in the RHLI Officer's Mess. He was a soldiers soldier.
John Tinsley

My condolences to Mr. Browns friends and family. I will always remember his kindness and love when Dave passed away. My heart broke when he left our little building on Pakington where he spent 30+ years. I hope he had his walker races at the new place. I will remember him fondly and he will always be Fast Freddy. Rest in Peace Sir.

My condolences to Fred's family.,

RIP Col the fight is over

I am very sorry to learn of the loss of such a great Canadian and extraordinary person LCol. Fred Brown. Your tremendous contributions to the RHLI and the men and women who serve our country will never be forgotten. SEMPER PARATUS HCOL (RET'd) Tim Hogarth

Another long serving Riley gone. Rest in Peace Sir.
Major Don Kennedy (Ret'd)

I corresponded often with "the Colonel" on matters relating to the RHLI, and I will miss our letters. I wish I had been able to actually meet him, but I felt I knew him from our connection via the written word and the odd phone call. Rest in Peace to an "old comrade" and my condolences to his large extended family.
