Not sure what to say?

Fred was a one of a kind gentleman who was a role model and great community leader. All our lives are richer because we knew him. He was a true gift to all of us.

So sorry to hear that Freddy passed away. I am thinking of all of the Guthrie's at this sad time.
take care,

Fred was a true gentleman and a beloved teammate on the Brooklyn Ford ice hockey team that he sponsored for many years. We wore the Canadian Olympic hockey jerseys as a measure of our respect for Fred and for the great nation he was raised in - Canada. Our team's website even played the Canadian National Anthem, which pleased Fred. I will never forget this wonderful man and how he loved his family and friends.

Our prayers go out to the Guthrie Family. Fred always had a smile on his face no matter what kind of day he had. He was a very kind and generous friend. He introduced Greg and I and we had our wedding ceremony in Fred and Sandy's home. You will be missed Fred. Pam and Greg Szymanski

We know of Fred only through our son in law Stuart Hubble.
Stu was always very fond of Fred and had good things to say about him.
He will be missed.
