I met Mr Mann when his son Fred and I were friends living on the WestBank of New Orleans in a small town of Marrero back in the early 60's What I remember most from that time was the Mann household was a welcoming and comfortable family home. I always felt welcome there. Mrs. Mann introduced me to iced coffee and I have a very clear memory of his son Fred getting into a little trouble regarding a telescope.He will have to share that event.
