Not sure what to say?

Remembering Fred means remembering so many great times at EKU. We were friends in ROTC and Brothers in Sigma Chi Delta/Sigma Nu. So sorry we didn't stay in closer touch trough the years.

Fred gave me my first real HR job. But most importantly he mentored me and gave me opportunities to learn. Fred challenged me to be more. While he was not one to say great job very often, I knew he respected me and I respected him. We lost contact over the years but I thought of him often in my career. The world is a better place because he was in it! My much belated condolences to the family.

Fred and Earl were roommates during their "single" years. They were really the odd couple! Last year, Fred came to Earl's 69th surprise birthday party and it was great seeing them together. Since then, they've gotten together a couple of times. We're so sorry we did know of Fred's death. Earl really wanted to see Ricky and Danny.

I knew Fred through Southeast Christian Bible study class. He was a unique character. I enjoyed our Saturday dinners out together. Everyone that knew Fred, knew he could come off a bit gruff at times. But when you got to know him you learned he was also a very caring soul with a soft side too. That is the Fred I will remember. I will miss him...

Fred and I were pledge brothers to Sigma Chi Delta in the Fall of 1965. Always a great guy, it was wonderful to see him at Homecoming in 2009. Have been exchanging e-mails since then, so I will miss him everytime I send on a thoughtful message. Tom Conrad

Fred was one of my best friends. We shared a lot of good times. I'll miss him.

I worked with Fred at AAF. He treated me with kindness and always took time to give me valuable advice. My condolences to his family.

A very good man. Its a sad day in AAF history. Our prayers and sympathies to his family and all friends grieving during this difficult time.

Fred will be missed by many people whose lives he touched. It was a blessing to have him as a friend and brother in Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:53-55.
