Not sure what to say?

God Bless Gail & Dave Chetcuti from your Millbrae Neighbor, I have vivid memories of Dave on his motorcyle as well as being just a regular guy in his casual clothes in the yard. He was a good person and his wife as loyal as can be. May their souls be connected eternally and always hover over their sons.

i miss you aunt gail.
i love you.

I did not know Gail Chetcuti but I thought of her and her children often. On April 25, 1998 I was a witness to her husbands murder as the car that I rode in passed by. That memory has never gone far. I send my sincere condolences to all the family for your enormous losses.

My Father was a SFPD motorcycle cop for 32 years. I have two siblings and I think about Mr. Chetcuti every time I drive down 101.

I am a Reserve Sgt. and Community Service Officer with Antioch PD in Contra Costa County. I have been a NorCal COPS member since 1992. I attended my first LODD service in 1989. I met Gail through our COPS chapter after Dave's passing. I did not personally know any of the officers whose services I attended and Dave was no different. At one service a elderly lady asked me if I knew the officer. I replied, "No but I like to think I know someone just like him". But while attending...

We met through tragedy and suffered the same loss in 1998, mine in Dublin. Through COPS, we became friends. Gail was a strong, dedicated, tireless and proud woman. I will miss you my friend your smile and courage always gave me strength to push forward. You have passed on the strength and courage to your boys and forever will we keep them and the memory of you and Dave in our hearts. As you watch over us..because I know that you are..tell John I love him. Your friend in life and spirit. Tammy

Gail called me in late June to say she wanted to testify in the charity fraud case. I asked her, "Are you sure? You don't have to do this if you're not feeling up to it." Gail replied, "I want to do this, I just need someone to help me take the witness stand, my vision is not very good because of the tumors." I replied, "I would be honored to escort you Gail." I scheduled her court appearance and on Tuesday morning, July 6, 2004, I carefully escorted Gail...

I did not know you personally, but I knew you. Your husbands in-law watch my daughter some 20 years ago. Later when your husband got killed, I felt that loss. I lost a brother. Later when my nephew got killed, Officer Isaac Espinoza, you came to his wife's home to visit. One COPS wife to another. Your were an angle in our eyes, trying to help us make sense of it all. Now one of COPS member, not by chose, we become sisters. I heard your name many times, always helping others. You will be missed...

We did not know Gail prior to Dave's death, but got to know her through NorCal Cops, the Memorial Foundation, and PORAC. Her energy and drive was to second to none, and her smile could light up a room. Her willingness to help and assist those that she did not know was a constant source of inspiration. She will be missed. Our sincere condolences to her family.
