Not sure what to say?

He was a mentor of mine in the 1970's encouraged me to go to acting school, and then helped me finish my degree...never a negative words, always kind and encouraging. Every time I direct I think of him.... he was so proud when i went back and got my doctorate and license as psychologist told me I could do it..

We were out of town and missed the passing of this wonderful man. What a delight! A talented, kind and sensitive man who was able to bloom with his musical career despite the social limitations of the pre-Civil Rights era. Never bitter, always positive. He was our instructor for our classes at the Senior University at Indiana University Northwest.

May the grace and peace of God keep you and your family. I loved Prof Cope as a Theatre major at Indiana University NW, we became friends. He will be missed by many.
