Gary M. Boukus Sr.

Gary and I worked together at Irving Robbins School in the mid'70's. He was a helpful presence to me as the new principal. I discovered his dry sense of humor early on. On my desk one day was a formal written grievance from him. He was contending that the height of his classroom doorway was a poor working condition, because it was 6'5" and he was 6'7". Obviously tongue in cheek but we had some good laughs. He was a good man who made his mark on the school.

Thinking about Gary and all the years at Irving Robbins Middle School. This was in the early 70's so we go back a long time. Sincerest condolences to the family...he was a wonderful teacher and great man.

Sincere condolences to the Boukus family. I served with Betty in the House of Representatives and met Gary through her. He was a very nice person and they were certainly a great couple. Hopefully they find joy in being reunited. May he RIP.

Gary was a good friend and will be missed may he rest in peace . He has now joined his lovely wife Betty,may they both rest in peace,
