Gary Gangnes

Gary was a friend for over 3 decades. We had recurrent phone calls and lunches, and every time I spent time with Gary, I was uplifted. Gary was one of the most positive humans I have ever met. He brought positive energy to every interaction he had with anyone. I will never lose his wisdom, as his "words go with me". I hear his sage advice in my head all the time. Our lunches will be missed my friend.

I met Gary through the Sista Monica Gospel Choir, where we enjoyed standing next to one another and harmonizing. He was an excellent, inspired musician. I'm so grateful to have been able to perform with him many times. Beyond his love of music, Gary was a force of positivity. He worked with me for years as I geared up for buying my own house in Santa Cruz. We drove all over Santa Cruz County in his big car, from Corralitos to Bonny Doon. I met and worked with Gary during the mid to late 90's in real estate in Santa Cruz County. I'll always remember his kindness and generosity and am sorry to hear of his passing. May he be reunited with Jacklyn.
