Gary "DD" Guest was born May 31, 1953 in Hugo, OK the son of Henry "Boots" Guest and Mellie (Webster) Guest and had lived in this area all of his life. D. D. married the love of his life Mary Hall on August 24, 1973 at the 1st Baptist Church in Valliant, OK. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Valliant, OK. He was a star athlete and received a scholarship to play baseball. He went on to coach numerous ball teams. DD enjoyed all sports and coaching his own boys & others. He also loved to hunt, fish & camp with his family. He loved everyone and always thought of others first. DD "Poppy" loved his kids and grandkids more than anything. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Henry Guest, Jr., Donald Ray Guest, Bill Guest and Larry Guest; a sister, Margie Claborn; and a brother-in-law, Bo Fields. Survivors include: his loving wife of forty-four years, Mary; sons: Brady Guest (Dusti) of Millerton, OK and Blake Guest (Jordyn) of Valliant, OK; brothers: David Guest (Sue) of Millerton, OK and Gerald Guest (Pat) of Valliant, OK; sisters: JoNell Fields of Millerton, OK and Debbie Stokes of Stillwater, OK; 6 grandchildren: Owen, Noah, Cate Claire, Sawyer, Sealey and Saxon Guest; 3 sister-in-laws Dana (Jackie) Sipes of Valliant, OK, Janice Guest and Joyce Guest both of Millerton, OK; a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Toni) Hall of Ft. Towson, OK, mother-in-law Pat Moye of Valliant, OK; special nephews, Sam Guest of Millerton, OK and Jerry Claborn of Valliant, OK along with a host of other family and friends.

I have known DD and you, Mary Lois, since you were sweethearts in high school. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a hard worker and family man. That smile is what I see. He was so friendly.
