Not sure what to say?

I am one of Gary's cousins and I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the good old days when we had the family Christmas parties and Aunt Marge's house. We all gathered in the basement!!! Good memories!!!!

I am deeply saddened by the news of Gary's passing. You have my sympathy and my prayers. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the service for Gary, however If I can do anything to assist you prior to Saturday, please do not hesitate to call or email me - no matter what you need, big or small. Again you and the children are in my prayers. May God continue to bless you and keep you always.

I will miss Gary and Shekinah's visits to Music Go Round where i work and conversations about music and more. As my neighbor and fellow musician in the early 70's, i will miss his presence and hope my Bach piece sharing at the commemorative will bring good things to those who hear it.

Dear Shekinah and Family,
I was shocked to hear of Gary's sudden death. We attended high school together and I remember that he was in a band with some friends. I am grateful that we did get to see you and Gary play and sing at the interfaith center recently. I will treasure my memories of both of you.

Dear Shekinah and family,

We are so sorry to hear of Gary's passing, sadder still that we haven't visited the past couple of years. We will miss Gary's playful spirit, kindness, willingness to serve and participate. I've known Gary since the Gary and Mary days, and have always appreciated his musical sensibilities. We wish we could be there in person. Bless him!

I am grateful to have known Gary and been moved by his passion and commitment. Pretty good wit too. He will be missed by many, but carried in as many hearts.

I offer my condolences to Gary's family and many friends. I knew Gary through his work with TERN and at CMH. I hope that in a short time the music he created will provide healing memories.

I've created a memorial website for Gary with photos, music and stories at:

I've worked with Gary for many years on the CISM team and TERN activities. He was always a pleasure to work with and a breath of fresh air. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.
