Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Natoli, Gary A., 66, passed away on November 23, 2020. Loving husband of forty-two years, of Colleen Natoli (nee Kelly); beloved father of Melissa and Daniel Natoli; dearest brother of Dorothy (Dennis) Bednarski, Sharon (Joe) Keiser, Laurie (Ken) Hall and Michael Natoli; dear brother-in-law of Cathleen Kelly (Terry) Cronin. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Elaine, and parents, Lorraine and Albert Natoli. He was a fun and loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He retired after a successful and proud 38 years from Sears, Roebuck and Company as a HVAC Technician. As a devout fishermen and outdoorsman, he found great peace in the beauty and stillness of nature and wildlife; and will continue to do so eternally.

Not sure what to say?

I met Gary when I started working at Central Hardware Store on the Alton Illinois Beltline. We became immediate friends and have been ever since that time, so many years ago. Gary was one of my groomsmen in Joni and my wedding and when Gary married Colleen, we became friends for life. I loved Gary like a brother and always will.

I remember all our times together with yourself and Gary. Some of the funny things he would come up with.

I first met Gary working at Central Hardware in Alton, IL. We became immediate long lasting friends. We eventually met our Spouses and our lives got busy and we moved away from each other. We always got together when My wife Joni and I would come back in town. We love you Gary and Colleen. You are eternal friends. I have much sadness in my heart over Gary’s passing and your loss and at the same time I am full of gladness that Gary’s terrible disease is over for him and for all of you. ...

Dan, we are so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Prayers to you and your family.

Dear Natoli Family,
I worked with Gary many years ago, and I cannot say enough kind words to match his life. Gary was so funny and thoughtful, a wonderful human being. I am very sorry for your loss.
