Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Dr. "V" passing with great sadness. In 2013, my wife transferred to MD Anderson for treatment. Dr V was our oncologist. She properly diagnosed my wife with Mesothelioma. She arranged chemo, surgery, and a clinical trial, which helped my wife to live these past 10 years. We are so grateful for her persistence and tenacity in cancer care. We loved Dr. V dearly and will greatly miss her. Our prayers go out to her family.

My Dr. Varadhachary literally saved my life in 2011. Because of her expertise I was offered a non-standard treatment for my stage 3 hereditary pancreatic cancer that worked spectacularly. It was a long road to surgery, but she walked it with me all the way. That treatment she offered me is now a standard option for people like me. I and many who followed have her to thank for new leases on life. I only wish she was here to share it with us.

To Atul & the rest of the family, we are very sorry for your loss.

She was a compassionate doctor who cared for my friend Mark who was stage IV pancreatic at MDA. I went with him to his clinic visits, and she kept him going for as long as she could. She was encouraging but realistic, and with a sense of humor that helped him live to the fullest while he could. I am so sorry for her family. May her memory be for a blessing.

Shocked and saddened by the demise of Gauri. Our heartfelt sympathies to Atul and the rest of the family.
