Not sure what to say?

We are so very saddened by the news we just learned about Gay's passing. She purchased our house on Whistlers Cove in Rockport in 2013. She was a delightful person and we enjoyed working with her during the transition. We also met several of her family members who were all so friendly and supportive. Our hearts were broken as we viewed the news about the hurricane devastation in Rockport and wondered about Gay. Sincerely, Gene & JoEllen Greenlee, Lawrence, KS.

Gay was a member of our Mid-Coast Texas Master Naturalist chapter, and a wonderful friend to the environment and to educating children about seashells by volunteering at the Aquarium at Rockport Harbor. I would love to correspond with a member of her family about her service as a master naturalist.

Janet, Sherri and Craig,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a kind and giving person. My Mom always talked about Gay and we all fondly remember the good times we had together growing up (minus the broken arm and stitches on that one camping trip). Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You were a great friend me and my sister and you will be missed. You helped us out selling my dads house and with work referrals years ago.

I am missing a friend today. We had not seen each other much during the last 5 years, but each time we did I was greeted with a tight and sincere, loving hug. Such a strong and successful woman with so much love and excitement of the world to share will be missed by many, including me. I met her at Master Gardener's when she joined back in 2003. She was full of adventure and love of others. As I grew too old to work with them anymore, I was still thrilled to see her at Castaways or...

Your sassy wit and wonderful smile will be missed. At peace, knowing you are in the loving hands of our savior! May God give peace and consolation to all the family.

We knew and loved Gay for many years enjoying fishing, tennis, dancing and just her positive personality. She never ceased amazing us by her determination to beat whatever she faced. She was certainly "one of a kind" Earl and Joanne Lilly, Friend, San Antonio, Tx. Oct 27. 2070

To Gay's Family heartfelt prayers. She will be missed by many along w/her friends in the Port Aransas Garden Club where she was a member for many years giving time and energy to the many beautification projects the PAGC has in the community. She was always willing to lend a hand. May your memories of love and laughter, joys and blessings lift your spirits and w/time bring you peace.
With fond memories,
Port Aransas Garden Club Members

The angels in heaven are rejoicing. Gay has joined them. Joan DeLouis
