Eugene Bartman

Gene hired me to coach JV softball at Calvin Chr. When he offered me the job, he obligatory asked if I had any questions or concerns. I said, "I have one concern - I have to drive a 15 passenger van full of teenage girls." At that point barely just out of the teenage years myself, I had never driven anything bigger than a compact car. Gene graciously said, "Well let's go practice." and he took me out in one of the school's vans and let me drive it around until I felt comfortable handling it....
