Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I remember him fondly as a dapper dresser. I attended his "how to debone a turkey" class more than once. However, I especially remember him for his unfailing assistance with helping the second year medical students in the gynecologic pathology labs I organized. He did it for many years; the only recompense I could give him was a parking space and my heartfelt thanks. He was so patient with them and an excellent teacher. He always got great...

The late Dave Specht, pathologist, and I truly enjoyed visiting with Dr. Bogaty at the OPA Friday night dinners with speakers. We liked his style of dress as well.

Gene you were a wonderful man, father, husband and father-in-law. I am really grateful for all the love that you always showed to my daughter. You were like a father to her. I am also grateful for having met you and being able to enjoy your warm smile and the friendship you gave to our family when you visited us in Puerto Rico. I did not see you very often, but I will definitely miss you. May you Rest In Peace and surrounded by the love of our Heavenly Father.

He was so welcome at any event, interacting with all so courteously and with humor and good thoughts. I recall many delightful conversations with him, as I was the Precinct Committee Officer in his/my precinct. I always recall his beautiful home in Dubois Court, and the life that he brought to our...

I looked twice when I saw Gene's name. I remember him as a star football player at Plum High and an inhabitant of Renton where my grandfather worked at the mine. To his family, what an incredible man he was and how blessed you are to have his example to guide you. Helen Eves, Class of 1951 Oakmont High School
