So sorry Carol, was such a neat man. I will never forget how the two of you took care of me at Fort Sam Houston. He was recovering and I was going thru school but he was there for me.
For you grand kids your grandpa was an outstanding baseball player. He could hit the ball a mile and used a huge bat versus the rest of us. A great American Hero...Silver Star...Doug

If has been our privilege to see the closeness your family has shown all these years. As parents we can only hope to live up to the example Gene and all of you have provided. We will miss Gene! God bless.

RIP Geno...To so many fond memories dating back many years at Sand Creek / Riverview Park and you always being there supporting Chrissy and our team as well as my adult years. Your humor, kindness and smile will long be remembered and very well missed!!

Gene was a great man and father-in-law!! I'm honered to have had a great father-in-law, you will be greatly missed.

My Grandpa was the bravest and strongest man I have ever met. Everything he did was for his family and I'am very proud to not only call him my Grandfather but my hero.
