Not sure what to say?

Just came across this today after looking at obituaries with the passing of my mother on 17 May 2017 at age 96.

I spent some time with Helen and the Stone family at Avalon and Turramurra in the late 1960s.

A delight to have known such a man and he was an inspiration as a true gentleman.

I remember him fondly and saddened to learn of his passing.

Recently when driving through the Bilgola Bends I was thinking of Geoff and the work he did for me way back when. That 'when' feels like pre-history now, but the memories are as strong as ever. He was a major influence on my professional and personal lives.

I am sorry to hear of his passing over a year ago and offer what little sympathy I can to his family.

All the best to the extended Stone family.

Michael

I didn't know you Geoff, but you were a familiar face and part of my young memories....on Australian TV...growing up in Melbourne....so sad to hear of yourpassing....RIP...

Geoff was a gentleman in the true sense of the word. I had the privilege of working with him and have many happy memories of those years at Mosman E.C. Deepest Sympathy to dear Midge and all his family. Diane Cutler

Deepest sympathy to all the family, so sad to hear of Geoffs passing, from a long time friend, Rocco Agostino

I met Geoff Stone back in 2000 after a work colleague suggested he would be the perfect celebrant for my wedding. From the minute my husband-to-be and I met him we knew he was the perfect fit. A stellar career in television and a warm and genuine gentleman. My condolences to the family.

While I was in High School, I feel in love with a news reader called Geoff Stone. He later came back and brightened my life considerably, when his daughter Anne married my brother Peter Dunn and we all lived happily on the fabulous Cremorne Point.
