Not sure what to say?

I remember him quite well as very likable person, giving all in sports and friends. A great high school mate. Wishing the family comfort and love.

So sad to learn of Georges passing. He was a wonderful, kind gentleman. A true role model for many, and a giant loss for the State of Georgia

Wonderful person. Will be greatly missed!

Former employee of
Georgia Department of Industry and Trade

George was a person of great integrity and and exemplary public servant who had few equals.

George was my 2nd cousin. His aunt Vina was my grandmother and my mother Eloise was his cousin. I was told that Vina was the first female to graduate from a Young Harris College. The Berry family have a long history in N Ga. My mother Eloise was best friend to Jane Miller (Zell's sister). People like George and the Berry family are treasures. On behalf of Vina, Eloise and myself You made us proud!

I have lost an old and dear childhood friend. We had many wonderful memories growing up in Blairsville.

Here's remembering the man who taught me that chewing tobacco was a nasty habit. He was also a pretty good trout fisherman. We'll miss you.

Sincerely,
Charles Duncan

To a dear friend , it was a blessing
