Not sure what to say?

Very sorry to hear of George's passing...a noted traffic operations and safety engineer and a true gentleman. I can remember seeing him driving around Gwinnett in the 80's...the only traffic engineer with blue lights on his car. A most inspiring person with a keen interest in safety.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of sorrow, Those who die God keep in his memory because they are precious in his eyes (Psalms 116:15)

I hope that reading psalm 119:105 may help you find comfort

I'm very sorry for your loss of an accomplished family member. I would like to give you comfort knowing that Mr. Black can be given back the live that he so much enjoyed. (John 5:28)

George, I remember you as a gentle giant who worked in the political circles as an admired individual. I know you now are helping with the traffic in heaven so might the gate-keeper be able to squeeze a few more souls safely into the glory of heaven. You will not be forgotten my friend.

Caryl, Please accept my deepest sympathy. George's keen intellect, profound understanding of aviation from both a pilot's and an engineer's perspective, and his compassion and sense of fairness made him a uniquely valuable asset to the NTSB, and are only a part of why I treasured our friendship. I am sorry I couldn't get back from Boston in time for his memorial service, but know that I am thinking of you, and George.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Black family may God's Word be a lamp lighting your way, so that you may be strengthen and fortified you to endure this difficult time. (Psalm 119:105) My sincere condolences to your family.

I was very saddened to hear about George's passing. My deepest sympathies for the Black family. May you and your loved ones find comfort in the promise found in Ps 34 : 17-18.
