Mr Christakis surrounded by his trainees

You know the greatness that was your Dad. We all looked up to him, he was our example/mentor/friend as we traveled through our baseball years at Mannbridge and Babe Ruth. I have been blessed knowing your Dad and his Son.

Dear Sandy and Dean-

I was blessed to know both of your parents, they were always very kind to me. May your Mom and Dad's Memory be eternal.

My deepest sympathy-

I am so blessed and grateful that my children had a chance to know you. We have all learned so much from you, about our heritage and life in general. You were an example of a life well lived! Rest in peace, Uncle George and prayers to your family.

Love- Paula Thompson and family

May you continue to feel the love and support of family and friends as you celebrate a life that was well lived.

Sandy, I am sooo sorry to hear about your Dad. I am sending prayers for you and your entire family. Be Blessed...

So sorry for your loss. I remember George for his love of sports, he and my father shared many memories of the war.

Dear Sandy and Dean, HM was blessed to have your Dad coach baseball as just one of his many accomplishments. I was privileged to chat with him on occasion at the Hobart Y when sitting with "the guys" and especially blessed to whistle for him once or twice. Molly Miller mentioned she forgot to sign the book while visiting today. You know your dad is in the best of hands and certainly has a wonderful place in Heaven, reunited with so many loved ones. God Bless. From your Horace...

You will be missed Mr. Christakis! You were like a grandpa to me and such a really great person to everybody. May you rest in the peace of eternal life and pray for us all still here on earth. Tell Grandpa George and Grammee hello and that we love and miss them dearly. My deepest condolences to Dean, Sandy and all of the family and friends who knew George. We now have another angel in Heaven looking after us.
