George and I were both born on January 22.1937 in Hillsdale. Michigan. We both went to Jonesville high school graduating in 1955. George was a good student and went to MSU becoming an Army officer upon graduation from MSU. He was an outstanding officer and apparently the same as a teacher. The last time I saw George was at our 50th class reunion, I can say nothing but good about him.

Please accept my sincere condolences. In reading the obituary it is clear that Mr Day was very loved. Much comfort and hope can be found at John 6:39, 40.

Mr.Day was my favorite history teacher, his quick wit sense of humor and attention to historic detail made his classes stand out in my memories of high schoolteachers , my sincere condolences to his family

lance and scott so very sorry to hear about your dads passing he was a very nice man and one heck of a teacher i really enjoyed his class.

Mr. Day was one of my favorite teachers at MHS in the '70s. He could make history come alive. I am so sorry for your loss.

I remember the Day family well. George's father was my doctor and as kids, George. Tim Kyser and I often played catch in their back yard. A good family.

My condolences on George's passing.
