George " Catfish" was a true professional and a pleasure to fly with- Germany, Baton Rouge or San Francisco- it didn't matter. I wish we could have flown longer. My feelings go out to your family. George will be missed. Flying with him was a real pleasure. It was folks like George that made MSY such an enjoyable experience. I was glad to have known during his time with us. Life may be short but certainly the memories will last forever.

Capt Catfish was how I knew George. He was funny beyond belief, compassionate when needed, and a true professional aviator! He made our work rewarding, and our flights together zipped by. I miss him being in this world...

May God Bless George and his family. He was one of the "good guys" that made MSY the best base in Delta Air Lines! He flew the big Delta Jets and flew the general aviation classics. Wilbur and Orville Wright will have a lot of questions to ask him for sure.
