Not sure what to say?

Something took me to this site tonight for the first time. After looking at all the wonderful memories of Uncle George, I realized the date...I miss you Uncle George! Love, Sharon

I appreciated the memorial service so much... the wonderful violin and piano music, the family's heartfelt and uplifting sharing, the message by Brown... it was all just really wonderful and spoke to me not only about George's fantastic qualities but also those of his family. And many many thanks for the stellar gathering at Irregardless which was THE perfect way to honor George and to bless his friends in the process! Kudos to all of the family for giving George such a wonderful "send...

To all the family of Mr. Georgallis I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have worked at whole foods market for the past 10 years and seen him every week and it was always a pleasure. He was always smiling and treated people here with respeact which does not happen a lot these days. He will be greatly missed here and i send my deepest sympathy to his family. God Bless

I did not know George well, but enjoyed his company and our discussions while walking at the Crabtree Mall. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Stephanie and Mark, We learned of George's passing while on vacation this week. I am so sorry to hear. He was such a sweet and gentile man. Another great neighbor on Kipawa; always ready to lend a helping hand. I'll never forget him helping me cut mom's grass with his new "green" lawnmower. I saw him in March at Dad's Memorial service. Our family is thinking of you.

My deepest sympathy to George’s family. I met George when we were both members in the Sierra Club in the 70’s. He loved hiking as much as I and we became hiking partners for a number of years. He loved being in the mountains and all of the beauty the outdoors had to offer. He was generous to a fault and on one occasion gave away his brownie to a fellow hiker who didn’t have desert. He was everything you could want in a friend: kind, generous, good hearted and had a great sense of humor to go...

I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of George's passing. I knew George through Int'l Folk Dancing in Raleigh. What a wonderful, kind and loving man. We will all miss him very very much. My sincerest thoughts are with his family at this time.

Dear Stephanie, Mark, Joan and all the family,

I was so sad to learn of George's death. My history with the family goes back to Cathy's Merdith days. I wil be at Merdith with clasmates at the time of the service and so I will miss it, but I will be thinking about all of you.

I send love and sympathy!
