Not sure what to say?

I am shocked and saddened to learn that George has passed away. I did not know him well but we had kept in touch for many years.

My love to all of his family members. I am sure that you will miss him very much.

I've just learned of this man's passing, and it's mid-May...

George and I first met at the Prom Ballroom in 1959...that Sept. 24th, he took me out for dinner to celebrate my 21st birthday. I found him to be a very kind and caring person. We dated -but not exclusively - for several months. We ran into each other in recent times, having both lived in St. Louis Park. I remember a few years ago him telling me that he spent time in AZ during the winter months...and also about a lot...

We are saddened by the passing of our good friend, George and were anticipating his return to AZ. Our love to all of his family. Joanne Archerd and Lyle Skandel

So sorry to hear of your loss, George and my wife Cindy exchanged Family Genealogy stuff. Loved hearing of his travels. He will be missed.

Jean, Jackie and Tim,
My most heartfelt thoughts are extended to you at this difficult moment. George and I have been friends as far back as Jeans highschool years. All of you were in his "most important category" always, and then he added his grandchildren to that list!! He lived his life to the fullest. Kind, humble, and if he didn't have anything nice to say, he didn't say anything.

The Twin Cities ballroom dance community will miss George very much! He loved to dance and it was always a fun night when he showed up at a dance. We will miss him very much. Our condolences to George's family.

I will miss George's smile and kind nature -- he was a true gentleman. We shared dance cruise stories.....

Jeanne, Jackie, Tim and families: Lu and I extend our condolences and share your loss. You may not remember us - you were just little kids when we last saw you.
Bill Vornwald and I, having transfered down from UMD, first met your dad in the fall of 1956. We all lived in House 10 at Centennial Hall at the U of M.
George showed us the around and introduced us to Newman Club, among other things - like Stub & Herbs!
Bill and I were in engineering; George in General College. ...

Jeanne, Richard, Elisse, Keely and family members. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father. I never had the pleasure to get to know him however, I know he must have been a dynamic man with much to give to his family & friends. The love you all shared will be cherished memories. Much love and blessings, Jan
