Not sure what to say?

Always remembered and forever missed.

I always remember his circumspect answers to most conversations. Especially after his move with Grandma to the assisted living center, I spent hours listening to she and him recounting life before 1943. Life is just not the same without them both.

Hello Homan Family,

I know it's been a few months now, but I just wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss and that George was such a wonderful guy! I was an intern at the Atrium in spring 2011 semester and I always enjoyed being around George. He reminded me so much of my grandfather in every way from his simple and laid back personality to his strange food tendencies (I remember we found bleu cheese in his sock drawer one time!). George always cracked me up and he'll be one of...

Jeanie... I am sorry for your loss. I got to clean your dads room at the Atrium up until Aug. 19th, I resigned and have an office job, so I was very shocked to see this in the paper. He was a kind man... may he rest in peace and I know I will miss him. Sherry

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Jean.

All who knew him will know, that he was one of the truly remarkable people to grace us in his lifetime. Quietly he led by example with subtle strength and conviction that few possess. I know that I will miss him more than words can ever express. George Homan will always be what I aspire to be as a person, husband, and father.

Dear Ginger, Jean and Families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle George was a sweet and kind man who will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your families.
With deepest sympathy,
Todd, Teresa, JT and Nevin Shatzer

Uncle George was such a kind and loving brother to my grandmother. I remember him coming by the house while I was visiting grandma in the summertime. Usually he'd stop in to fix something, or to bring her some of his garden vegetables, or even just to visit. He always had such a sweet smile. I know you will miss him dearly.

Ginger, Jeanie, Bill, and Jim,
So sorry to hear of you Dad's passing.
